Writers Write. Quitters Quit. That’s The Way It Has Always Been.

What are the most differentiating factors for us writers who have made it and those who haven’t? I don’t think, or have never thought, of the ‘quality’ of content one writes. Art is subjective, and it is absolutely true for us writers too.

When I said ‘subjective,’ it means that you may like my article on Karma I wrote yesterday, while the other group of ‘non-believers’ and ‘atheists’ will hate it. Why? Because that’s how it has always been.

So, back to the question, what is the element that makes some best-sellers, some make it to Netflix, and some become Hollywood writers?

The answer to that is, ‘Buddy, they write.’ They don’t stop.

Yeah, they don’t stop, no matter what. The consistency, the persistence, the patience they have when others lose it, the belief they have in their writing when others don’t, the hope they have in the universe, their karma, their gut, while others become pessimistic and nihilistic sometimes.

Writing is like painting, it’s like dancing, it’s like being a guitarist, it’s like any other art; the more you do it, the better your craft.

I have never, ever in my life, heard of anyone or seen anyone who is too young to be respected a lot in ‘art’ (please pardon the exception 1/1000, there will be someone).

But like sports, where actually the younger you are, the better and chances of you getting accomplished are super high, that is totally opposite in art. Art needs ‘time’ to grow, mold, adapt.

To all aspiring writers, listen closely: Dive into the realm of writing with unyielding resolve.

Let your dedication be unshakeable, your perseverance unwavering, and your patience steadfast.

Trust in your unique voice, rely on your intuition, and never waver in your quest for greatness.

Embrace the writing journey wholeheartedly, for it is through relentless effort and resilience that dreams take flight.
